We are committed to the highest standards of achievement possible in everything that we do. Our staff is our greatest asset and the quality of their teaching and support is reflected in the improving examination results our students achieve.
However, we are also firm believers that students should have a wide range of opportunities to experience and develop additional skills. We have an extensive enrichment programme which includes a range of sporting activities, art, drama productions, music clubs and a number of trips and visits which extend and develop learning outside the classroom.
We want students to enjoy their learning at Abbeywood Community School and have the enthusiasm, skills and understanding to continue their learning once they leave the school. As a school we use new understanding about learning and technology to make sure that we cater for the needs of every individual student in our care.
